Iowans are known for their strong work ethic and at the Tippie College, it's no different. Our programs are challenging, and to succeed at Iowa, students must be dedicated and hard-working. But, it's about a lot more. It's about innovative programming and research that change the way we look at business. And, it's about the impact that we have on our students, our alumni, and our communities that demonstrate the value of the Tippie experience.

Our Programs

vStudents can receive a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in one of six areas: accounting, economics, finance, management and organizations, business analytics and information systems, and marketing. Several certificates provide the additional credentials that help students stand out when interviewing for employment.

The college also offers graduate programs, including a Master of Accountancy and Ph.D. degrees. The Tippie School of Management offers several MBA programs, each tailored for a specific audience. Whether it is the two-year, on-campus Full-time MBA Program; the MBA Program for Professionals and Managers (MBA-PM) that is offered in the Quad Cities, Cedar Rapids, and Des Moines; or the two-year, lock-step Executive MBA Program, there is a graduate management program that fits your needs. In addition, the college offers an Hong Kong MBA.

Study Abroad
The college is also the credit- and degree-granting institution for the Consortium of Universities for International Studies (CUIS). Under this program, undergraduate students from a number of different institutions are able to study in Italy. Graduate-level offerings are offered through the Consortium Institute for Management and Business Analysis (CIMBA), which is overseen by the Tippie School of Management.

Career placement services benefit our students and area employers looking for the brightest talent.

Many have received awards for their exemplary performance. Tippie faculty are outstanding educators and researchers from both the academic and business sectors.
