You will spend your time...

  • Supporting your team in making deliberate improvements in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) as well as housekeeping performance.
  • Ensuring100% compliance of assigned EHS requirements, process safety, food safety, and quality standards. As well as executing required preventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices.
  • Safe completion of life critical activities in production areas including development and execution of lock, tag, try procedures (LTT).
  • Identifying and implementing improvements in systems, processes, and personal development and as assigned by department and/or shift Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Ensuring all training requirements are met within the specified time frames and training other personnel as required by Team Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
  • Ensuringpreventative, autonomous maintenance and equipment sanitation work practices are executed as required by department
  • Performing maintenance and repair of site's electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Performingwork order tasks and supports work order flow through MMIS
  • Performingtroubleshooting of site's electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Supportingscoping and planning of work orders
  • Following parts procurement procedures
  • Supportingupdating and documentation of equipment BOMs and PMs
    • Key performance Indicators
    • Wrench time
Job Requirements

The following are requirements for this position

  • High School Diploma or High school equivalent (HSE) including GED and Maine HiSET
  • Basic math skills
  • Basic computer skills

The following knowledge, skills and experience are helpful but not required

  • Journeys man or Preferably Master Electrician
  • Must be independent, self-motivated, and capable of multi-tasking
  • Manufacturing environment experience
  • Chemical manufacturing experience
  • Customer oriented
  • Action oriented
  • Problem solving

  • Good presentation skills
